Store Policy Centre
Know what happens before you pay, after you receive access, and whenever something goes wrong. These policies apply to purchases made directly through the Tomphonics Academy Store.
Effective and last updated: 25 July 2026
Refund Policy
Fair remedies for genuine payment, delivery and product problems—without allowing consumed digital products to be copied and returned.
What this policy covers
This policy applies to ebooks, templates, toolkits, recorded Mini-Trainings, paid courses, workshops and other digital products purchased directly from the Tomphonics Academy Store.
Nothing in this policy removes any remedy or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
When a refund or other remedy is available
- You were charged more than once for the same order.
- Payment was confirmed, but the purchased access was not delivered and we cannot restore it within a reasonable time after you notify us.
- You received a materially different product from the one described at checkout.
- A file is defective or a core paid feature does not work, and we cannot repair, replace or restore it.
- Tomphonics Academy cancels a paid live session and does not provide a suitable replacement date, recording or equivalent remedy.
Change-of-mind requests
Because digital products can be opened, copied, streamed or consumed immediately, a change of mind is not normally refundable after a file has been opened or downloaded, a protected reader or video has been accessed, meaningful course progress has begun, or a live session has been attended.
If you bought the wrong item or changed your mind before using it, contact us within 48 hours. We will review the access record and the circumstances fairly. Any reasonable payment or administrative cost may be deducted where permitted by law.
How to request a remedy
Email tomphonics@gmail.com within seven calendar days of an instant-access purchase, or within 48 hours after a scheduled live-session problem. Include your full name, purchase email, product title, transaction reference and a short explanation. Screenshots may help us resolve payment or access errors faster.
We may first restore access, repair the file, replace the product or move you to an equivalent session where that fully resolves the problem. Approved refunds are initiated within seven business days to the original payment method where possible. Your bank or payment provider may require additional processing time.
Terms of Purchase
The rules that govern purchases, accounts, licences and participation across the Store.
Agreement and eligibility
By placing an order, creating an account or accessing a paid product, you agree to these terms and the policies on this page. You must provide accurate purchase and account information. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must make or approve the purchase.
Prices and payment
The price, currency and product scope shown at checkout apply to your order. Payment is processed through the payment option you select. Access is granted only after successful payment confirmation or approval of a verified bank transfer.
A pending or failed transaction does not create paid access. If your account was debited without confirmation, contact us with the transaction reference so the payment can be traced.
Your licence
A purchase gives the named buyer a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the product for their own learning or professional practice. Ownership of the content and intellectual property remains with Tomphonics Academy or the identified rights holder.
- Do not resell, upload, reproduce or distribute purchased files or recordings.
- Do not share account credentials, protected links or reader access.
- Do not remove branding, copyright notices or access controls.
- School-wide, team or commercial reuse requires written permission or the appropriate licence.
Courses, sessions and certificates
Dates, facilitators and lesson order may change where reasonably necessary. If a material paid commitment changes, we will provide an appropriate update or remedy. Certificates confirm completion of the stated Tomphonics Academy programme; they do not represent a government, university or professional accreditation unless the product page expressly says so.
Account action and liability
We may pause or end access where there is credible evidence of fraud, unlawful use, credential sharing, piracy, abuse or a chargeback made after the product was properly delivered. We will act proportionately and preserve any rights that cannot legally be restricted.
Educational products support learning and professional development, but results depend on the learner, context and implementation. We do not promise a specific income, job, enrolment result or business outcome unless it is expressly guaranteed in writing.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We may update them to reflect legal, product or operational changes. The version displayed when you purchase governs that order, except where a later change is required by law or gives you greater protection.
Privacy Policy
What information we collect, why we need it, how it is protected and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
- Identity and contact details, such as your name, email address and phone number.
- Account, purchase and transaction details, including payment status and references. We do not store your full card details.
- Learning activity, including enrolment, lesson or reading progress, webinar registration, certificates and reviews.
- Referral, support and communication records.
- Device, browser, anonymous visitor identifier, country-level location, referring source, page-view and click information needed to understand, operate and protect the Store. We do not store a raw IP address in the website analytics ledger.
How we use information
- Create and secure your account.
- Process orders, confirm payments, deliver access and maintain purchase history.
- Track learning progress, issue certificates and restore access across devices.
- Provide support, prevent fraud, investigate abuse and protect the platform.
- Improve products and understand platform performance, including which pages and calls to action visitors use and the countries from which the Store is viewed.
- Send service messages and, where permitted, educational or promotional messages. You may opt out of promotional messages.
Sharing and international processing
We do not sell your personal information. We share only what is reasonably necessary with trusted service providers that support payments, hosting, databases, email, analytics, security and customer support, or where disclosure is required by law.
Some providers may process information outside Nigeria. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate contractual, security and legal safeguards.
Retention, security and cookies
We keep information only for as long as needed to provide access, maintain accurate transaction and certificate records, meet legal or accounting duties, resolve disputes and protect the Store. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, although no online system can promise absolute security.
The Store may use essential cookies for login, security, checkout, saved preferences and referral attribution, plus limited analytics technologies. You can restrict cookies in your browser, but essential account or checkout features may stop working.
Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or delete personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or request information about how your data is used. Some transaction, certificate, fraud-prevention or legal records may need to be retained.
Send a privacy request to tomphonics@gmail.com. You may also raise a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Children
The Store is primarily designed for adult educators, school leaders, parents and professionals. We do not knowingly create independent paid accounts for children without appropriate parent or guardian involvement.
Digital Access Policy
How delivery, protected reading, streaming, progress and long-term access work after purchase.
Delivery and account matching
Access is normally attached to the account and purchase email used at checkout. Use the same email when signing in. If an older purchase does not appear, contact support with the original receipt or transaction reference so ownership can be verified and access restored.
Protected products
Some ebooks are available only inside the protected reader, and some videos stream only inside the learner dashboard. A purchase does not automatically include a downloadable PDF, video file or shareable link. The format and access method stated on the product page form part of the purchase.
Duration and availability
Where a product page promises a fixed access period, that period applies. Where no period is stated, we aim to maintain access for the reasonable commercial life of the product and platform. This is not a promise that every product, technology or third-party service will remain unchanged forever.
We may update formats, replace outdated files, move content to a new reader or learning system, or temporarily interrupt access for security and maintenance. We will take reasonable steps to preserve valid purchases and restore access after material platform changes.
Personal use and device security
Digital access belongs to the named buyer. You are responsible for protecting your password, email account and devices. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Repeated simultaneous use, automated copying, credential sharing or attempts to bypass protection may trigger a security review or temporary restriction.
Support
For purchase, access or policy questions, email tomphonics@gmail.com or use WhatsApp support at +234 808 249 4571. Include the email used for purchase and the product title, but never send your card PIN, password or one-time code.
